For thirteen years, Tilly was part of every chapter of Grace’s life in Brisbane. The gentle red Kelpie loved early walks through New Farm Park, afternoon naps on the cool tiles, and sitting beside Grace on the veranda whenever a summer storm rolled in.
As Tilly grew older, their walks became shorter, but she still stopped beneath the same jacaranda tree to rest in the shade.
After Tilly passed away, Grace found it difficult to walk past that quiet place. The garden felt different without the familiar sound of paws following behind her.

Grace chose a Personalised Pet Memorial Stone, engraved with Tilly’s portrait, name and the words:
“Wherever the jacaranda blooms, I will think of you.”
She placed the stone beneath Tilly’s favourite tree. When the purple blossoms began to fall, they gathered softly around it.
Now Grace often sits there in the late afternoon. The garden is quiet, but the memories are still full of life. Tilly is no longer resting beneath the tree, yet somehow, it will always remain her place.
