In a quiet apartment in Lyon, Amélie’s cat Lucien had one favourite place: the narrow window ledge overlooking the street below. Every afternoon, he watched neighbours return with bread from the boulangerie and waited for the sound of Amélie’s key in the door.
For fifteen years, Lucien was part of every ordinary moment in her life. He sat beside her during late dinners, slept on freshly folded laundry and always found her when she needed comfort.
After he passed away, the empty window felt unbearably still.

Amélie created a Forever Photo Memorial using her favourite photograph of Lucien resting in the afternoon light. She placed it beside the window where he used to sit.
Now, when the sun reaches that familiar corner, Lucien’s photograph glows softly. The ledge is no longer empty. It holds the memory of a small companion who made an ordinary apartment feel like home.
