For fourteen years, Minka shared a quiet apartment in Leipzig with her owner, Clara, a piano teacher. Whenever Clara began to practise, the little grey cat would climb onto the piano bench, curl beside her, and remain there until the final note.
Minka had heard every missed note, every new student and every song Clara played when words were not enough.
